The biggest room is easilly the most impressive. Great works of art but not too many of the real renowned painters/sculptors

gallery in a beatifull building. Not the biggest gallery but also not the priciest. We bought tickets for this gallery and another together for 12 euro. So 6 euro per gallery basically. The ceilings are painted as well. If you enjoy art especially paintings this is a good place to go. Not so crowded so you can actually see the paintings.

Excellent museum of medieval and Renaissance fine arts. Another must see place at Rome. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light.

Little gallery - it was nice. The most beautiful room was a hall room with a ceiling of 20 meter plus with the ceiling painted. Absolutely stunning that one room. Must of taken a lifetime to paint.

My low rate it has to do with when you buy the ticket at the ticket office, there is no explanation in what you will be able to visit. It cost 10 euros to get in. You buy it and the lady tells you to go to your right. There are only 5 or 6 rooms that you will see in 15-20 minutes. Then where is the rest? You have to go outside and climb a lot of stairs to go to the highest floor and another attendant tells you that in order to enter you need to go in a tour??? When is the next tour? I asked. I was lucky because there was just one stating in five minutes in Italian. I don't speak Italian but I just wanted to get in. But you need to stick to the tour.
There is an elevator that you can take but I found out later. When are the tours in English? No idea. How often? Who knows?
Then there was a second floor that I saw people visiting when you go upstairs but that it is not visited on the guided tour. How? I don't know.
Since the palace it is being restored, probably what it is seen is only 20 % of the building.
Please ask what you will be able to see and touring the floors before buying the tickets.

Lots of classic paintings and beautiful ceiling frescos. Cheap entry and surprisingly quiet for a national gallery. Unfortunately half of it was closed.
