This is a very special place! My husband and my 5-year old son spent a week at Monforte and we were sad to leave the place. The hospitality of Salvatore and his family is second to none. Christian (the manger of the hotel) is super helpful and tries to accommodate any request. Salvatore gave us the best recommendations of where to eat (we visited some of the best restaurants in Salento), what beaches to see and many many more tips, which made our holidays truly unique. We travel a lot for work and for pleasure and I rarely find the time to review places, but this is a special gem which needs a great review.as it is a difficult one to find otherwise. This is one of the best places in Puglia/Salento where to spend your holidays. Highly, highly recommended!
