Ubicazione eccezionale per Perugia!Da qui si visita tutto bene sia con auto o mezzi pubblici perché collegamento molto buono! Servizio fatto con intelligenza ed educazione! Ottima pulizia!

Bellissima struttura storica. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Parcheggio interno e stanze spaziose. Da migliorare la pulizia dei locali.

Cheap but sketchy
When I first arrived at this hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by the looks of it on the outside. Never judge a book by its cover though. The grounds appear more like a small villa, but the inside is not like that at all. While a private room for the night (including en suite bathroom) is very reasonable in price (I believe it was 25 euro), the towels and soap were an additional 2.50 euro which I've never heard of.
The biggest problem I had with this place were the other clientel. Lest anyone call me a racist, I will avoid going into too much detail. However, I think it's important to note that Perugia is considered one of the most dangerous cities in all of Italy (according to locals and other Italians), and the country has had a lot of problems with refugees from other neighboring countries, especially of late.
Having said all of this, I was very comfortable being the only womanand the only white woman there. I suppose there is nothing that hostel can do about that, as it's not their fault who frequents the establishment. However, I am allowed to feel uncomfortable in my surroundings, and in this case I was very uncomfortable with it. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to stay there because my company was putting me up for the night.
The receptionist upon check-in was very friendly and gave me all the information I needed, etc.. However, that night when I came back from dinner, no one was at the counter, and I had to eventually call down to another guest from my window to the parking area to find out where the front-desk receptionist was, as I had looked for her all over the hostel.
The guest told me that she was in the garden. I had to go back downstairs, and search for her in the back of the hostel, only to find her watering the flowers. She said she was alone, and that's why she wasn't at the front desk. I'd tried calling on the phone too, but since she wasn't at the desk, this is why she didn't answer.
They do have a 24 hour cafe/bar where you can buy snacks and drinks, but they keep it locked. So if you can't find the receptionist and you're dying of thirst as I was - I guess you're out of luck.
The room had no AC nor did they have a fan available, and I was dying in that room from the heat. The windows do open, but if you leave the window open, you also have to leave the wooden shades open as well, and everyone can see into the room. The room was comfortable, with a large queen sized bed, and an additional twin. I was so nervous with the other guests in that hostel, that I actually had to push the twin bed up against my door so that no one would come in. The lock was basic, and I was concerned that it wouldn't be enough.
The breakfast the next morning was terrible. Hardly worth calling it food.
The location is also not that great. Especially if you don't have a car, and are unable to use public transportation. I was lucky enough to eventually find the mini-metro that runs from near the hostel to the center of Perugia, but when I came back later that night there were no streetlamps, and there were some sketchy people wandering around that area at night. I was nervous coming back alone, and especially in the dark.
It's about a 20 minute mini-metro ride into the historical center, just as a heads up.
All in all, I would not recommend this place.response / report this review -

Luogo che sorge vicino alla minimetro , da cui muoversi facilmente per la città , con fermata del bus vicina . Struttura piacevole alla vista , con sale ricreative , struttura molto tranquilla . Camere ben tenute leggermente spartane ma funzionali a ciò che devono fare . Personale sempre a disposizione . Colazione inclusa con diverse scelte. Esperienza positiva.
