Beautiful hotel. Clean and serviced daily. Amazing food. Great location. Staff friendly and helpful.
Proper Italian gem. Free bus to Sorrento and ideal location to explore the area. Trips run from the hotel. We booked all inclusive and were impressed. Did I actually read someone moaned the lift was slow! There are two lifts and a beautiful marble staircase. The hotel isn't modern nor are the lifts. Not that I was rushing anywhere.the views of the sunset were stunning.

Good standard 4* hotel, food good even better if you ask for something not on the menu - maybe available. Hotel staff seem disinterested but are very helpful when prompted. Good all inclusive package branded drinks and cocktails available as well as wine and presecco in large quantities. Down side - long way from Sorrento - shuttle service ok but stops too early for nights out. Not enough toilets, self-service for coffee and tea seems the order of the day, information is not readily available and it is wise to question holiday rep about hotel amenities.

Overall, this is a wonderful hotel with good staff. The rooms are good and it has amazing views. However, the food is the main issue, there is a huge buffet but the food is mainly fish or meat meals, and as a person who only really likes chicken and pork (as meats) and no fish there really wasn't a lot of choice to eat.

This hotel is lovely and the food good BUT it is isolated and apart from swimming, drinking and eating not much to do! The nearest village is 700 metres plus from the hotel and this involves walking up a very steep hill, busy with traffic and often no pavement. Very difficult for anyone with walking difficulties, in a wheel chair, pushing a pram, carrying a child. The hotel courtesy bus to Sorrento does not stop in the village or at the station there. The pool is small and as other reviews have said needs repainting and some repair work. The sea - well Bay of Naples - is lovely. and views wonderful

Spent a week at the Mar Hotel Alimuri with my partner, young daughter and 26 friends as part of a wedding party. The staff, especially the wait staff are fantastic; friendly & helpful. The hotel is kept clean and tidy, rooms & towels cleaned daily. The bar served a wide variety of soft and alcoholic drinks and the unlimited bottled water was a very welcome part of the all inclusive. The views from this hotel are first class. Stunning. Beautiful. If you're looking for a laid back and relaxing break I would actually recommend this hotel. However I personally wouldn't revisit this hotel simply due to the fact that they were unable to cater for my dietary needs. As a vegan very nearly all dishes had meat, fish or seafood in them including the salad dishes. They did provide soya milk though. The majority of my friends with whom I travelled did enjoy the food on offer though. We also had the problems with a sewerage smell in our bathroom but we were the only family out of the group who had this problem.

This is the 2nd time i have visited this hotel, it is a truely wonderful place to stay. The foid , the staff and everything about it is amazing. Would highly recomend .

Hotel a little dated. However the food and the staff more than made up for this, particularly the restautant staff, who appeared to treat every holiday maker with eagerness and respect.
If you want a hotel to relax in comfort and eat great food and be looked after by friendly and helpful staff I would highly recommend this hotel and destination, however we like to walk and explore while we are away and due to location of hotel we were unable to do this, so sadly for this reason only we would not be returning to this hotel/destination.

Fantastic food, beautiful seafront location and great staff. Station is a 15 walk away from where you can get the train to Naples and pompai amongst other places.
