I accidentally left in this hostel in the armchair a multifunctional tourist knife, my brother's gift and remembered about it only in 2 weeks, wrote and they found it and returned it). Excellent hostel. Thank you very much!!!

Had a really nice stay here for a few nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Got me feeling at home right away. Had a nice small common area that naturally encouraged people to chat. Would stay again!

This is a great hostel in a city that is only now becoming more touristic, so it still maintains it's authentic character. The first hostel to open in Genova, Manena is a pioneer and it shows in their careful attention to the guests. The hostel is housed right next to the most important historic street, so the location is perfect and rhe building of the hostel itself is charming! High ceilings, big windows, and lots of natural light charecterize the rooms. The only detail that I wanted to change was the sturdyness of the beds (since they squeaked and moved when someone gets into a bunk or turns during the night). Other than that, everything was great!

Great hostel. The owner gave us a map and told us about all the things we could do in Genoa. The rooms were clean and looked nice. For €6 the owner did laundry for us. There was also a guided walking tour for 1 euro + tip which was very good and took us all around Genova talking about the culture, showing historical sites and going to great foccacia and gelato stores.

This hostel is perfectly located! The kind man (Julio) at the front desk was so warm and welcoming! I have stayed at many hostels all over Europe, but this one felt most like home. Grazie!
