Had run out of food, internet barely worked, the gym was out of service and bad service in general. Two examples: 1. When I enquired about when the gym would re-pen the receptionist answered “What do I know, ask the maintenance people”; 2. Tried calling the restaurant for room service; would not answer so I tried with reception - the receptionist gave me the right number and asked me to please learn the next time I called. Could not leave as you have to cancel 3 days in advance. Never coming back to this hotel.

Great location. We walked everywhere and took the bus as well. Termini station is within walking distance. Staff was exceptional. Ready to help at all times. Although we had a smaller room, the size was fine. Bathroom was a good size. Refrigerator and safe are in room. Free phone provided was used to call US several times. Computer and printer in lobby allowed me to download and print several documents. Front desk faxed them for me. Quite helpful. As others have said, breakfast was great; coffee excellent. Would stay here again.

One of the better hotel stayed in Europe.
This hotel has all it needsincluding a basement spa facilities.

Room is spacious and toilet has heater.
Wardrobe is big with safe and fridge.

One worthy mention is hotel provides a mobile phone with data and call function..able to use as if person phone and it's especially helpful if you don't have roaming data.

Breakfast is great with decent spread of food (scramble eggs, bacon, ham, wide range of cheese, toast etc). Was greeted warming when arrived at breakfast dining area.

One issue is the water heater is very irregular fluctuating between hot and cold without even touching the water control knob.

Overall it's still an excellent choice with a great Gelato ice cream stall and convenience stall just vertically opposite.

Such a lovely hotel, absolutely beautiful! Lovely gourmet pub just outside the main hotel. Only a short distance to lake Windermere. Would definitely come here again, already planning our next stay! 10/10!
