Great breakfast, great view, good deal, good pool. The internet was down for one night, not really their fault, and the pool area was poorly attended, no towels Would stay here again.

Modern hotel on the waterfront in Grado. Wifi was spotty and there was a strange odor in the lobby and outside the hotel - smelled like sewage. Fifteen minute walk from the restaurant and shopping district.

We recently stayed at the Laguna Palace Hotel in Grado, Italy to enjoy the Wellness facilities. Although our stay was enjoyable, the hotel did not meet the standards it advertised or those of a 4 star hotel in general. For the duration of our stay, 2 nights or 3 days, there were no extra towels at the spa and therefore had to bring our own. The wifi worked on and off, the heating was way too high in the rooms (+25°C.) and too low at the spa. The television menu was all in German and the movie service was unavailable, but more importantly, when we called reception to enquire about these issues, instead of receiving apologies, we were treated with contempt. The hotel's redeeming qualities were it's views, location near the center of Grado and the fabulous service and food served at the restaurant where I had the best spaghetti marinara I had ever tasted!

Rooms are very modern and spacious.
Had to ask for Air Conditioning to be manually turned off as it is running continuously as default. Hotel reacted immediately as soon as i made the request.
Light switches are too many and in the funniest of places. Electrician didn't plan his work through at installation, but thats just a minor criticism. Didn't affect our enjoyment in the slightest.

Breakfast is very good (for the healthy minded). I myself prefer a little more fat in my breakfast. Could be better with some fresher bread and some fried bacon.

Didn't try the Sky restaurant as there is too many excellent places in town with a better atmosphere.

Great Spa area on the roof. Fantastic views over the Grado Lagoon and westward shoreline all the way to Bibione.

We loved the location as it was a short walk from the town centre. Everyday we would enjoy a stroll to and from town, past the local residents, enjoying the intoxicating bouquet of their Jasmine and Rose bushes, watching the most stunning sunsets.
