Very helpful staff. Nice location, overlooking Ragusa Ibla and just a few minutes away from Santa Maria alla Scalla, where the walk for seeing all the main attractions start. The rooms are modern and clean, with a very nice bathroom. Breakfast is OK.

Ragusa merita una visita ed essere accolti qui ne aumenta la gradevolezza. Ambienti belli, puliti e posizione ottimale, uniti alla cordialità e disponibilità degli addetti ne fanno un posto da consigliare. Grazie a Piera, Valentina e Silvia per i gentili consigli turistici. A presto.

Definitely a B&B and not a hotel. Definitely NOT in Ragusa Ibla!
That said, it was clean and modern and very close to the (endless) steps that take you to Ibla. Also close to some nice restaurants if you can't be bothered to walk all the way back up after dinner!
It is situated right next door to a very noisy church clock, which chimes at 7am, so if you want a lie-in, this place is not for you.
The staff couldn't have been nicer, extremely helpful and happy to go the extra mile.response / report this review -

La struttura è accogliente, pulita e dotata di ogni confort, ubicata in una zona tranquilla e da dove è possibile spostarsi per raggiungere i vari punti di interesse. La colazione è ricca e abbondante. Personale gentile e professionale. Ho apprezzato la pulizia dei bagni e l'attenzione per i dettagli. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Ho dormito 2 notti in questa struttura. Consigliatissimo per il personale che è di una cortesia e disponibilità come se ne trovano solo in 5 stelle..posizione ottima e piacevole per la vista dall'alto di Ragusa Ibla (per lo meno dalla mia camera). Camera pulita e confortevole, bagno con finestra e letto comodo. Unica nota negativa sono le tappezzerie delle poltroncine in cui ci si siede per fare colazione che consiglio vivamente di sostituire quanto prima. Se torno a Ragusa torno sicuramente da voi!!!

La Dimora di Piazza Carmine si trova nel centro di Ragusa. L'accoglienza è stata perfetta. Il personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile.

We had the 'penthouse', the top floor room, spacious, large balcony and magnificent views over Ragusa Ibla, the old city. Breakfast was ok, not special. One minus: starting at 7 o'clock in the morning right next to our ears (that's how it felt anyways) we had a real 'Barok and roll' experience: the barok church bells started to rock, making us jump out of bed the first morning.
