AMAZING VALUE!
My girlfriend found this place while looking for hotels in Amalfi Coast for our first visit.
All hotels near the ocean are much, much more expensive and all Air BnBs were gone except the super expensive ones as well.
She then found this gem. Beautiful pictures, decent location and super low price (compared to other B&Bs). It meant we had to rent a car if we wanted to see a bit of the other cities in Amalfi Coast, but it was soooo worth it!
You are I'm a small town called Campinolla right next to Traramunti. Locals are very friendly including the neighborhood puppies who are just as friendly as the locals. With a tiny convenience store and bar, as well as 3-5 restaurants within a 15 minute walking distance of the B&B.
Breakfast was basic but very satisfying. Some hard-boiled eggs, cereal, bread with many spreads, water, juice and assorted pastries.
Out room (#8) was on the top floor where the roof falls on an angle, so if you're tall do not stay in this room. You will most certainly hit your head. From seeing a few other rooms open while being cleaned, this seems to be the only room with that issue. Not a problem for us however as we are both medium height at 175 and 165 cm. Also, we only used our room to sleep and shower. All days were spent outside exploring nearby towns.
Gardens in the B&B are gorgeous! So, so pretty. For cheap eats, pick up a couple of pizzas from the local restaurants, buy your drinks at the grocery/convenience store and eat in th garden or upstairs terrace on on sun/tanning chairs.
There are local buses and Antonio (owner) can help you with those, but we opted for driving and paying the very expensive parking on the street during high season, in order to enjoy the flexibility of having our car.
Driving around Amalfi Coast is NOT for the faint of heart. They are mostly twisty mountain roads with very sharp turns. Locals drive very fast both in cars and scooters and everyone uses their horn for everything.
Only drive if you are very comfortable driving standard/stick and consider yourself a relaxed and very good driver. Some roads make you feel like you are going to fall right off the edge into the ocean (keep in mind you're hundreds of feet above it).
Driving however is worth it as you can get to see a lot more of the towns. There are also buses and boat taxis from the towns, which can be faster than driving, as often you'll be stuck waiting for a couple of vehicles (bus or truck usually) to figure out how to get around a bend without wrecking each other's side panels (yes, the roads are that narrow at some points).
Highly recommend this places especially if you have a car or don't mind taking the bus.response / report this review -

Bellissimo b&b gestito con passione ed amore da Antonio, una persona che per soli 2 giorni ci ha trattati divinamente. Scoperto per caso su booking, attratti dalle ottime tariffe, abbiamo trovato pulizia, cordialità , e bellezza e abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni di vero relax.. torneremo sicuramente perché la località tramonti è ideale per un viaggio in costiera e per scoprire le meraviglie culinarie e paesaggistiche del luogo,
Ma sopratutto per chi come noi non ama stare nel caosper me 5 stelle meritatissime!!!!response / report this review -

B&B molto tranquillo in zona Tramonti. Giardino curatissimo come anche la struttura. Il proprietario, è molto attento alle esigenze del cliente e sempre preciso e disponibile. La posizione tranquilla ma distaccata dal mare lo rende ideale per il relax. Chiaramente chi vuole la comodità del mare a due passi dovrà orientarsi altrove. Ottimo rapporto qualità /prezzo. Bravo Antonio!
