Good food by the beach with chairs and towels. The water is much deeper near the restaurant so heads up if you are going with people who are not the greatest of swimmers

My wife and I ate here on our first night in Praiano. Loved the atmosphere! Beautiful seaside restaurant right on the water. The service was a little slow at times, even compared to other places we went in Italy. We shared a whole red snapper, which was one of the best fish dishes we've ever had. However, the pasta course was slightly chewy and the sauce lacked depth. The waiter made an excellent wine recommendation, and we enjoyed traditional limoncello for dessert.

One of the best, friendliest, beautiful restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at. Its not often I rebook the same place twice, I like to explore. But this please has it all and at a good price to the quality food and service.

You can argue about the prices but not about the quality of the food, the service and the view. So basically, you can't argue about the prices.
We had Zucchini and fried sardines as a Starter, the pasta&swordfish for 2 as main dish and lemon sponge cake and buffalo ice cream as dessert. I was happy with the pasta and it's basic taste, my company was not and asked for salt'npepper.

Try the local white wine "Falanghina" and feel the history of the Romans in your mouth melting together with modern tastes.

What a lovely restaurant! Great menu, very friendly staff and owners (it's a family run business), and magic location. If you happen to be anywhere near Praiano, do yourself a favour and come here for dinner

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! This is my favourite restaurant in the world! We got married and had dinner afterwards at Il Pirata and it was absolutely amazing. The view and location is incredible, the service is the best and the owners are absolutely lovely. All of the staff were so amazing to us and the food is pretty great too! The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic and I will remember our dinner there for a lifetime. If you are visiting the Amalfi Coast, this is a must.

Excellent pasta. A notch above many other roadside restaurants on the Amalfi Coast. Doubles as a drinking/day party spot some days so be aware.
