A hotel without any towel and blanket

We stayed here for a total of four nights, two nights before heading out and two nights before heading home.
It is well located being only a few blocks from the Vaporetto stop as well as the Alilaguna airport shuttle.
We arrived late on our first visit. We fortunately were able to communicate with the front desk who provided us with the instructions as how to get in as well as the room key being left for us. The hotel desk closes early evening and the perimeter fence gate is closed and locked. Although we had the code to open the gate we still needed assistance to get it to function. This was accomplished with the help of guest who were out in the courtyard enjoying drinks.
Our first room had a problem with the shower head making it difficult not to flood the floor next to the bath tub. Our second room was larger, had a perfectly functioning shower and a small private terrace.
Our package included breakfast which was very good.
If not for the shower problem we would rate the hotel with five stars.response / report this review -

Esperienza per nulla positiva in questo hotel che in ogni caso per quanto riguarda confort e servizi potrebbe essere sicuramente gestito meglio.
Segnalo la mancata effettuazione del trattamento pensionistico indicato nella scheda alloggio (abbiamo alloggiato qua tramite cofanetto SMARTBOX). Non ci veniva fornito modo di usufruire dell'aperitivo di benvenuto, quando uscivo dalla camera circa 1 ora dopo il checkin alle 19.30, per chiedere quando ci sarebbe stato servito il rinfresco, trovavo la reception chiusa con nessun dipendente presente all'interno di tutta la struttura in grado di servirci. Inoltre venivamo collocati nella stanza peggiore dell'hotel, nonostante facessimo specifica richiesta di essere possizionati in piani alti distanti dalla cucina, siamo stati assegnati alla camera davanti alla cucina con conseguente sveglia alle 6 di mattina a causa dei rumori continuati fino alle 9 per la preparazione della colazione.
Necessitavamo di assistenza in camera per dei problemi quali assenza di lampadine o lampadine fulminate, nonché prese elettriche in bagno non funzionanti, ma non vi era in tutta la struttura nessun dipendente dell'hotel a cui chiedere supporto (tanto per far capire il livello del servizio fornito dalla struttura, basti pensare che son dovuto andare a conprare una lampadina al vicino supermercato da montare in bagno per assenza di luce)response / report this review -

Hotel Villa Edera è un n hotel situato a Lido (località Venezia). Bello e pulito ha camere sufficientemente grandi e accoglienti, il servizio impeccabile, ma la colazione continentale non è completa seppur buona e fresca. È situato abbastanza vicino a Venezia che addii può raggiungere con un traghetto che passa ogni 10 minuti. Il viaggio dura (verso piazza San Marco circa 30 minuti. Ideale per chi non può dormire a Venezia centro.

A nicely maintained spot, right close to the Main Street through the Lido, same distance from the south facing 12mile beach and back to Venice side of the island. Breakfast added on for only a couple pounds a day.
