Hotel Solemar was good, and only good, i mean the service was great but the whole area and hotel looks run down. My room was all right but i could see it had a few problems including broken door handles and broken fixtures and cupboards. While the hotel does give a great view to the surrounding area, it lacks a bit of character, it was slightly dull and needed a bit more than a re-model. This is just my opinion, i am comparing it to what we have back in England, But maybe this is average for a 3* hotel in Sicily, Thanks for the good stay.
