Lovely views & clean rooms. However no safe or refrigerator in room & beds very uncomfortable. No lift & hotel set over 3 levels so you have to be fit to stay here. I found the location inconvenient - too far from restaurants & shopping. Staff were friendly & helpful. Disappointing that no Gluten Free options in the buffet breakfast - but good coffee.

Not for the vertically challenged. There are no elevators and rooms are on many levels. Don't expect ice to be available. And don't expect quiet, sound travels well. Otherwise rooms are clean and neat. Staff is helpful. The complimentary breakfast is not my taste but the expresso was great.

I really enjoyed my stay here, very clean hotel even if a little dated in areas. The only thing I'd change is adding a duvet- but that is a personal preference. I found the hotel to be quiet at the time I travelled.
The staff were always friendly and happy to help this tired traveller.
Taormina is not really a place you use a car in- very strict resident only parking everywhere. The hotel parked our rental for us.
Most places are a walk away, the furthest we walked for dinner was 25 minutes. It is hilly so if you are travelling with someone who really struggles with hills and steps this would not be a good location for you.response / report this review -

a large group of my family and friends recently stayed in the Soleado Hotel while attending my daughters wedding in Taormina. The hotel was spotless, run by a lovely family who always made us feel very welcome, location was perfect, good value for money too. I would definitely recommend this hotel & I hope to return to it again in the future.

3 night stay early in season. Taormina is a fantastic place, and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for.
The room was very clean, and it seemed as if it was recently refurbed. Nice pool and secluded sunbathing area.
6 or 7 min walk to Umbretto (the main hub for bars, restaurants, shopping). 10 min walk to the cable car to get to the beach, or a lovely 30 min walk down the cliffs.
