DO NOT STAY HERE. BEWARE. DO NO STAY IN THIS HOTEL. We booked through expedia 2 rooms for 5 people and they charged my Amex for both rooms. We booked because the hotel said they had a shuttle that would pick us up. When we arrive through the metro, with all our bags, we called the hotel and the lady in the front said they didn’t have the shuttle available anymore. It was only 8 PM but they said it wasn’t running anymore. We walk around with our bags until we reach a small shop and asked them to call a taxi for us.
The owner of the building was nice enough to drive us to the hotel.
When we get to the hotel, the girls in the front were rude.
We asked them right away how long the shuttle runs so we can book it for tomorrow and they told us that the shuttle runs all the time, but that it was too short of a distance from the metro to the hotel, so they didn’t see the point of sending the shuttle to pick us up.
We were tried and upset so we asked for our room and then they said we didn’t book the rooms for 5, we only booked for four people.
We showed them the expedia confirmation that said 2 rooms for five people and they kept fighting with us saying that they can’t do three people per room because there’s only one bed, even though we assured them that three people wouldn’t mind sharing a bed.
She gets what I assume was the manager, some lady with short black hair who dismissed us and was very rude. She didn’t want to waste any time with us and preferred that we left than stay and give her trouble.
after a bunch of fighting between the girls in the front and me, they finally agreed that they can get a sofa bed and turn it into a bed for us.
She charges us for the two rooms and $40 a day for the extra sofa bed.
We all go up to our room and the girl tells us she will give us two deluxe rooms for the inconvenience.
But on expedia we paid for two deluxe rooms! So she wasn’t doing us any favors.
The room was big and beautiful the bed was comfortable
The only complaint about the room was that the shower was too small. Smaller than an airplane bathroom, you can’t wash your hair in the shower. Also the drain didn’t work so you had to shower and stand in the dirty water.
The next day, when we headed down for breakfast we were very disappointed. They only have a few pasteries and breakfast items. Not a lot of variety. When we finished with the breakfast, if you can even call it that, we waited in the front for the shuttle. A taxi pulls up and says he is the shuttle for us.
A taxi???? The hotel promises a shuttle. So now, on top of paying for all the rooms + $40 extra a day for a SOFA BED I have to pay for the hotel “shuttle” which is just a taxi!!!!
The taxi driver was nice and took us every where we wanted and was very helpful.
When we go to check out, the girl in the front says one of the rooms wasn’t paid for yet.
The lady in the front gets the manager again and they keep yelling at us about how the room wasn’t paid for yet. We show her the charges on our Amex account and the expedia confirmation. She keeps insisting that we still owe her $244 even though it shows on both of our end that we already paid for everything and had a pending charge.
We had to catch the next train to the airport so we put it on our American Express and will dispute it when we get home because we had to go, if not we would have stayed to fight since our stay was so awful. Also, now we have to pay $200 in taxi because they didn’t have the free shuttle mentioned in the stay. Basically they CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOU DIDNT USE, CHARGE YOU AN EXTRA NIGHT THAT YOU DIDNT STAY, DONT HAVE A SHUTTLE/USE A TAXI THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY, CHARGE FOR A SOFA BED, SHOWERS ARE TOO SMALL/DONT WORK, AND THE LADIES IN THE FRONT/MANAGER ARE RUDE. Location was close to train station and Pompei ruins. Room was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast could have been a bit better but overall good. Too much sweets for breakfast.

Very nice hotel! Price was fair, staff were all helpful and breakfast was great especially the cappuccino that was made for me. Overall I would recommend it to anyone.

Our group of 36 students from the US stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The staff was very gracious and helpful in accommodating us. Our evening meals were excellent. Wifi was not great so there was some trouble staying in touch with family but we were there for study and site visits so our days were full of all that Pompeii has to offer.

Back in Canada this would be a 2 or 3 star hotel at best. The grounds are beautiful with a beautiful view of Mount Vesuvius. Staff are nice. Theres free wifi, as well as free parking. In walking distance there are good restos. However the rooms are musty, the water doesnt drain quickly, and overall very basic including the bed. Everything is up to date though and good for a quick stay.
