Decent hotel close to the highway and the Swiss border. Rooms are big, with a big bed and nice clean sheets like it should be. Inside you can see it's an older hotel that probably was a top hotel many years ago. But it's more than ok to sleep for a night when travelling true Europe with the car. And also, enough parking and it's free!

Hotel Pioppeto Saronno is located in a nice position for people travelling to the southern parts of italy as it can be used to split up long trips. The check-in and the rooms are very nice and there also is the possibility to have dinner at La Terrazza which is located inside the Hotel. Other than that there is an Autogrill as well as a Burger King and a Pizzeria just across the street from the hotel which is also very convenient.

I only got an answer AFTER I wrote two emails. Then they apologized and offered a discount for a future stay. Funny that they don't do anything while they have the chance to do so. We will never stay there again.

Dear Manager of Pioppeto in Italy,

This week, me and my CEO were planning to go to the Simac in Milano and we booked two rooms in your hotel. Only I could travel, so we did not need the second room. I talked with the person at the reception, but he said there was no chance or option to cancel one room and re-sell it again. That is ok and we had to accept it.

But then I had some bad problems in my room. The shower was spraying all over the place and onto the ceiling. Water was everywhere. Not a good experience. The heat was set to 27 degrees, which was way to warm. The receptionist said they would regulate it, but they never did. I mentioned all of it the next morning, and was hoping to get some discount or apology. But nothing happened.

We paid good money to use your hotel and we feel that we did not receive good service.

Excellent hotel to spend the night on the way to your holiday destination, friendly staff that speaks English. Rooms are fine, no up or downsides for the price you pay. Good price/quality level!
