We stayed in the "casa del pittore" which is a house down the road of the castle with several rooms. The rooms are quite old, but clean. Impossible to shower with hot water since the old water heater is shared with all the inhabitants. We had an issue with the key at 2am and we were locked outside the room. Staff didnt want to give us another key to enter the room so we had to wait until 5am when they finally let us in. House is in front of a pool that was amazingly dirty. On the contrary there are beautiful sights of the countryside and the condominium is pretty. I'd say not worth the money I paid for.

Five stars are not enough for this place. The best hotel and restaurant I have ever stayed in all of Italy. Very friendly and polite staff. They had a spa which is rear to get in Italy. The dinner amazing the breakfast fantastic the hotel out of this world. They call it castle in the sky and it is very true. I hope my photos do justice to this place.

Un posto meraviglioso, le camere più belle d'estate sono vicino alla piscina. Peccato che le attività sono quasi tutte chiuse se non vai nel periodo giusto ma il posto è veramente carino. Spero di tornarci d'inverno per vedere come viene vissuto il borgo magari nel periodo natalizio!

Место просто класс! Рекомендую если любите спокойствие и виды с террас!!! Очень тихо и уютно.
Есть бассейн.
Завтраки слабые , если привыкли плотно завтракать , то это не сюда, утром только йогурт, 2 вида колбас и булочки с хлопьями, а также свежие и консервированные фрукты.
Рядом есть таверна, где можно поужинать.

The hotel is in a nice location atop a hill and not far from the beaches of Rimini-Pesaro area. Good sized rooms with good facilities but outdated CRT tvs. also the rooms ard not actually in the Palazzo, but in a 'new' wing adjacent. Is it worth it. Yes. and the trattoria next door has good home made food which is cheap.

Il Borgo di Montegridolfo è un gioiello: ben tenuto, pulito, affascinante in una giornata uggiosa e sicuramente ancor più spettacolare illuminato dal sole; un panorama mozzafiato sulle colline tra Romagna e Marche si ammira da ogni angolo del Borgo, in cui il Relais Palazzo Viviani è decisamente il cuore pulsante: il palazzo è davvero bellissimo, sia negli interni (ambienti molto curati, in cui si percepisce una raffinatezza senza tempo) che negli esterni (bel giardino con piscina), il personale molto gentile e disponibile (stupendo l'uso delle golf cars per trasporto persone e bagagli) ed abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vederlo accomodandoci nelle sale adibite alla colazione del mattino, il cui Buffet è decisamente ricco e vario e molto goloso (frutta fresca, succhi, dolci, cereali, bevande calde preparate al momento dal barista).
Abbiamo deciso di regalarci il weekend di San Valentino grazie ad 1 Coupon di Groupalia, che comprendeva anche 1 ora di SPA: quest'ultima è molto piccola ma deliziosa (piccola palestra, Sauna ed idromassaggio) ma consigliamo alla Direzione di calibrare meglio gli ingressi in quanto lo spazio è giusto per 4 persone e già 6 sono troppe!
Abbiamo alloggiato nell'Appartamento 11, davvero enorme con cucina, 2 camere da letto, bagno ampio con doccia e soppalco con ulteriore letto + divano nelle Casine del Voltone e siamo stati davvero benissimo nonostante fossimo proprio SOPRA all'Osteria dell'Accademia i cui camerieri e cuochi sono stati a nostro avviso molto maleducati (hanno sistemato il locale dopo la cena trascinando tavoli e sedie senza rispetto per gli ospiti ed urlando fra loro dopo la Mezzanotte in un Borgo silenzioso, e ciò non ci ha permesso di poter godere appieno della tranquillità del luogo, episodio increscioso segnalato alla Reception del Relais prima di partire).
A parte questo dettaglio consigliamo vivamente a tutti di andare al Relais per una fuga romantica!response / report this review
