A beautiful hotel that is situated a little off of the main touristy area. The location was very nice and the room itself was beautiful.

I would give zero stars if I could. I have been traveling through Europe for the last 20 day, and I am an avid traveler. This is one of the worst 4 Stars hotel. Outside of location, that is all the hotel is the worst. there are way better options for the money. Beds are uncomfortable, bathrooms so small that you are can't have two people in the same bathroom. No closet, drawers, instead they put a curtain over an area and called it a closet. Pool is much small than pictures, this is very deceiving. Breakfast is mediocre. Whatever you do not spend your precious vacation time here, it is a waste of time and money.

This is one of the worst 4* hotels we visited. The location is great but there were a lot of problems for the money we paid, including:
(a) the room is in very poor conditions: the water keeps dropping from the tap and could not be stopped by the staff. There is literally no soundproofing - we could hear the conversations and toilet flushing and shower from next room - very awkward! The cleaning ladies also spoke very loud in the early morning - annoying!
(b) the staff were mindless. For example, we had to call several times before a staff to come to the reception (while she was talking to a local friend in front of the hotel)
(c) the breakfast was terrible - the food (bread,cakes,fruits) were leftover from the night before and the coffee tasted like water (this is Italy!)
(d) they were not honest. They tricked me to cancel my Expedia reservation to get a discount by booking directly with them.
(e) the rooftop rool is tiny and they did not bother to open the bar in off-peak season so the rooftop facility was useless
Overall one of my worst experiences with 4* hotels. We visited there in early November - perhaps all competent staffs were on leave after the holiday. Otherwise I could not explain why the service/quality was so poor (compared to their relative high avg rating). So, don't stay here unless you visit here during the summer. Or avoid this hotel all together!response / report this review -

Really lovely stay in this hotel. Very clean, the floors were spotless, you could walk around barefoot without picking up bits on your feet.
The pool rooftop solarium, is lovely with good quality sunbeds and parasols, and has a bar and a barman to serve you, which aren't badly priced for italy.
The reception staff were helpful in providing directions and suggestions where to eat.
The breakfast area is staffed by Vittorio, who is a character! He makes a lot of jokes which may or may not be your cup of tea! Be careful if you have food allergies to check with reception for them to liaise with the kitchen, as there was a misunderstanding between us and the waiter about what I could and could not eat.
Would definitely recommend it, and it's in a brilliant location!response / report this review -

Roof terrace & pool are good but rooms were a bit dated. Staff were nice and the crazy old chef was entertaining!
