If you're hungry and just want to eat something - DONT GO THERE
The food is cold and tasteless- it tastes like warmed up "frozen dinner". Also the service is very unfriendly and you had to pay before you can eat. This hotel and restaurant is so cheeky and outrageous.

Do not eat here!
The bar has a terrible service, the waitresses are unfriendly and cheeky.
The food is not good, we had cold pizza and they also served warmed-up ready meals and took plates before we had even finished our meals.
Unfortunately I have to give one star, i'd give one, if I could!

The bed where a little too springy boing boing to my taste but beside that this place is great. It's a big hotel but staff is great, professional and available. The breakfast is awesome (from the perspective of a French person)

Location very close to ferry so can wait / watch it dock from outside and no transfer time. Bit of noise from road traffic but it's quiet overnight. Terrible coffee in breakfast room but good coffee in hotel itself so can get it there.

Room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. It seems everyone leaves and arrives on the same ferry so check in can be a little hectic, but they give you a welcome drink and let you leave your bag while the prepare the rooms. The staff are very helpful and friendly, all speak at least some English. The location is right near the ferry terminal, most of the restaurants and shops are along the one Street to the main square in town, so you'll always be walking up hill to get anywhere except the ferry, but that's a minor point as most will be there to climb the 918 metres to the top of the volcano.
