Good room with water view. Stumbling distance to the beach. Great air conditioning, little balcony and big bathroom with a shower with awesome water pressure. Convenient street parking. Slept for 12 hours here so missed breakfast. Professional staff and quick check-in. Bed very firm. Abundant power to recharge devices. Good place!

Hotel pulito con camere molto grandi. Vicinissimo alle spiagge e al mare ma dista un po' dal centro del paese.

I stayed at Mare Blu Hotel this past summer and noticed that as time went by the main owners became less and less friendly towards our group. The restaurant staff, younger girl at the bar during the day, cleaning crew, and the night guys were absolutely wonderful, but the owners at the front desk were only polite when they felt like it. It gets awkward since you walk in and see them every day.

If you are a vegetarian/vegan, do not expect anything more than a little pasta and cheese when you eat there. I recommend eating at nearby restaurants. Although, Franco and Pio are a lot of fun to chat with, plus, they help you work on your Italian!

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are clean, and the area is nice. The water stopped working once during day when I was in the middle of showering though. The AC works well too.

The location is great. It is only a five minute walk from the beach. If you are looking for nightlife, it is far from downtown Pescara. The buses stop running at around 11:00 PM, so you will find yourself taking a cab back to the hotel for 25 euros.

Overall, I recommend this hotel for those looking to relax at the beach. The staff (minus the owners) made our stay very enjoyable. I may look elsewhere in the future though.
