Very, very sympathetic and cosy hotel in Gressoney. Spacious rooms, very clean and typical for the mountain region (wooden furniture). Guests will like the delicious kitchen where vegetarian menu are served as well as classical italian, Val-D'Aosta food. A good variety of wines will conclude the culinary desires - just like in my/our holidays at the end of July/first of August 2016.
Most of all, Gigi the owner of the Hotel Lysjoch, is always for looking to satisfy the whites of his guests. Gigi helped us very uncomplicated as we had to return from 4000m due to snowfall. He organized rooms for us in a hotel close to his. Gigi even organized a hotel in the Gran Paradiso area, where we tried to hike up into the mountains. Gigi is own of the most sympathetic hotel-owners that I/we ever got to know - thanks Gigi!response / report this review -

Hôtel très calme,très bon service,amabilité,la table est parfaite,un hôtel idéal pour se reposer et visiter les alentours.Amateur de ski,emplacement parfait,avec le Mont Rose 4500m.

I stayed for 9 days including new years eve. I was warm comfortable and looked after extremely well - best New years eve ever which included outstanding food of many courses with wines to match. the cuisine was traditional and there was always plenty of it including an excellent buffet breakfast providing enough energy to ski for the day in outstanding conditions.Very very friendly Italian family atmosphere.
