Amazing and quiet hotel in front of the sea
Not a bad hotel but the man who was at the front desk made us feel like thieves because we booked thru Expedia. He was clearly mad He gave us the worst room with no view whatsoever. TV and hairdryer didn't work. The drain in the shower was blocked. Not recommended considering we payed almost 200$! Way overpriced.
The jacuzzi shower didn't work properly. Otherwise very good service.
Nice looking hotel and well located within easy walking distance of most Ortigia sights.
There is a ginormous jacuzzi in the basement, as well as a sauna, steam room and treatment rooms. We visited in mid June when it is hot, so were not that interested in the sauna/steam, but were a little surprised to have to ask the staff to prepare the area for us (to be fair it only took 5 minutes) - they go downstairs and turn on the lights, etc.
There is a breakfast room and restaurant on the 4th floor, so beware those of you who don't want to hear scraping chair legs through the ceiling if you stay on the 3rd floor. We didn't see anyone in the restaurant in the evenings.
There is also a rooftop 'garden' terrace and bar we found a deserted terrace with 3 dying plants and no sign of a bar or any service.
Overall not bad, but many improvements could be made.
Muy recomendable si querés estar bien ubicado, las vistas desde las ventanas son muy buenas, todo está muy limpio. El personal es súper amable. El desayuno es completo. Es un edificio muy antiguo muy bien restaurado y mantenido.
This is an excellent hotel, nothing bad to say about it. If staying in Ortigia, stay here. Breakfast was amazing too.
Spa carina e completa. Terrazza con vista mozzafiato.
Sono stato con la mia fidanzata in questo hotel ai primi di agosto. Bella la città , bello l'hotel ed eccezionala la competenza della signorina alla reception, stefania.
