Although located in a spa town, this is not a spot the gliterati will frequent. However we found it a nice place to stay a couple of nights before and after a day in Firenze. Food was , ehhh but a definite family feel. Seemed a little like a country inn misplaced in the city. In the morning, walk a couple blocks west to the farmers market (Via Leoncalvo, I think). In the evenings, walk to the Piazza Popolo and people-watch.
