Incredible experience - beautiful property with comfortable living space. Right down from the lovely Santo Spirito neighborhood - this was a great place to stay for people who enjoy walking throughout Firenze.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Florence Hortho Convento and I can confidently say it was a truly remarkable experience. The hotel's central location was unbeatable, allowing me to explore the vibrant city while enjoying the tranquility of its quiet surroundings. The fancy bar added a touch of elegance to the evenings, offering a wide selection of drinks in a sophisticated setting. The interior design of the hotel was stunning, blending historical charm with modern comforts. What made my stay even more special was knowing that it is a family-owned business, as their attention to detail and personalized service were truly exceptional. For an unforgettable stay in Florence, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The bed was not the most comfortable I have slept on and one day there was no warm water for my shower. The location is however great and the people working at the hotel are very friendly. The breakfast was great with a good variation. The coffee was not great.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location is awesome and the staff is terrific. Everyone who works there is warm, welcoming, and extremely friendly.

The reason for the 2 star review is the room we had was tiny. We booked through AMEX which apparently doesn't use the same room naming conventions as the hotel does so it wasn't easy to compare. We knew we didn't pay the more expensive rates so assumed the room would be small but what we got was unexpected.

If there are two people in the bed, one has to get out of bed at the end as there's not enough room on the side. Also, the bathroom is so small that you can't dry yourself off without banging into things. The shower was a 3ft square space which is barely enough room to clean oneself (and I'm thin). Also, between the echo and the lack of soundproofing, you can hear everything in the hallway. Also, the carpet seemed a bit old and had some stains in it. Drapes were a bit torn as well.

Great property, terrific location, wonderful people, but the room was such a disappointment that I'd never book hear again.

We had a wonderful stay here. A lovely, large room with a choice of bath or shower to use. As it is in its own grounds set back from the road it is a very peaceful place to stay but is only a 15 minute stroll from the city centre. The breakfast is decent but there is no restaurant or room service, so for an evening meal it is necessary to go out. The staff at reception are very helpful.
