This historic inn was completely renovated in 2000 and the architecture is studded with vaulting arches, stonework, and ancient timbers exposed for your viewing pleasure. The artwork is well suited to the ambiance, picturing Tyrolian pastoral and small town scenes of the past few centuries. The small staff is friendly and efficient, and the location is perfect, situated on the banks of the stream running through town in a pedestrian area free of car noise. The beds are comfortable and breakfast, a real feast, served in a lovely 2nd floor room. From the rooftop terrace you have a nice view of the old town and surrounding valley. We'd intended this as a one night stopover and stayed three nights. We hope to return again. Well done, family Mayr!
