Fantastic quaint place with lovely deco and clean comfortable decent sized rooms. Great location. Excellent service from all the pleasant and accommodating staff. Highly recommended.

Shocked by the less than perfect reviews; the hotel and hospitality are some of the best i have ever experienced. The grounds are immaculate, the food is out of this world (breakfast is unreal; eggs are over the top) and i was very very surprised that the dinner was the best we would end up having in Lange. We received excellent recommendations for tastings (we did Elio Altare, Casinca Fontana, Burlotto) and for local cuisine ( la concinella was incredible - get the local veal dish and a bottle of 2013 Bartolo Mascarello is only $100E 😳; young but still unparalleled quality Barolo). The hospitality and level of service is that of a 5 star hotel (and not the fake 5 stars you find in major cities and Mexico, but that of small luxury hotels you read about in world rankings). I sometimes take reviews with a grain of salt given that most 3rd party sites (affiliates) usually take a fee for every reservation they book, and thus curate positive review; but i can provide an honest review of the overall perfect quailty of stay and service we received. This will be first on our list to book during our next piedmonte visit. Central location as well; only 15-20 to every major Barolo village!! Enjoy!

This is likely the best hotel experience I've ever had. Our room and the grounds were authentic and beautiful. The meals, prepared by owner Denise, delicious. But what really sets this hotel apart is the heart they put into everything they do. Every customer is unique and every customer is the most important customer. My husband and I renewed our vows on the property and Denise and Isabella took care of everything - even a little note at the breakfast table the next morning. They know the area intimately and will help you coordinate whatever it is you want to do. Small, intimate and elegant.

My husband and I travel often, and this was one of the best hotels we booked. We spent 3 nights in Sept of 2014 and will be going back this fall to spend a full week.
The rooms are well appointed and the grounds are immaculate. The gourmet dinners are to die for. We have noting back to say about this hotel. Can't wait to return.
