Need restructuring!!! Nice position and great views but the hotel needs to be maintained and LOVED by the property.
It was ver Good.
Mah
At the moment is closed but there are nice gadget shops and snack bars
The Hotel Campo Imperatore offers a beautiful view of the Abruzzo. The rooms are quite comfortable for people who like trekking because of position of the Hotel, at, almost, top of the mountain. There is a bar and also a restaurant that offer basic stuff for travellers. Notice that this Hotel was a refuge of the Italian Dictator Benito Mussolini during the WW2. Also there's a little church where the Pope Giovanni Paolo II did prayed.
Bell posto , really nice place
Fantastic place but the years has worn out the place
Very cool to visit in the summer. Beautiful drive up the mountain!!)
Outstanding value, great food, location absolutely unique but the best of all are the people in charge of the hotel who are simply amazing: So kind, so helpful, always hard working and 200% committed !!!!
I give this unbelievable hotel 5 stars become I cannot give more !!!!
Rooms are clean. In Feb it was 35euro, in May only 15. I was skeptical of paying 20euro for dinner alone, but one time after having climbed nearby Corno Grande, I was desperately hungry. Dinner was great- half a bottle of wine and first and second courses, which were both amazing.
Overall this place is great- down to earth staff, reasonable pricing and of course great proximity to the gran sasso range. Buy a ticket for the cable car (funivia) up the plateau or if you have the time and energy, hike the trail.
