If you are looking for a campsite I don't recommend you choose this one. 30 euros is a little cheeky to plop your tent under a tree; not to mention you have to pay extra for showers that last about two minutes are are tepid at best. Access to the sea was the saving grace. If you are into camping I suggest you head out of town and find yourself an olive tree to sleep under.
Warning âš
Staff unfriendly and difficult to deal with. Tent pitches are dirt and stone with no separation by bushes or any form of marker, €33 per night is taking absolute advantage considering the lack of facilities and it's extra for showering.
Bathrooms are basic but clean.
The beach is dirty and serious lack of shade and seating.
Bari is lovely, Hotel Baia Sangiorgio isn't!
Really suggest finding elsewhere. We've stayed all over Europe and this place is bottom of the list by a long shot! 👎
Great place to stay with kids. Plenty to do for them. Pool with salt water but it was good. Great experience overall.
Very nice place, quiet and with perfect view. The staff is polite - not all of them speaks english, but they are trying to make your stay even better. The breakfest is good. The swimming pool is also very nice, just over the sea. The only bad think is that the closest pizzaria is about 10-15 min. walk /you need to walk on the main road and better look around for the cars. Also only two buses stops close to the hotel numbers 12 and 12/. Both of them goes to city cental station and number 12 pass by a few good beaches. The airport is around 50-60 min. by car or around 1:20 by bus/train.
