Great location, service and comfort level. Rooms are spacious. The 1 Michelin star restaurant was good but below expectation.

Incredible outdoor patio spot perfect for a quiet lunch. We had the place completely to ourselves. Service was top notch as were the food and beverages. One of our best dining experiences while in Rome. A hidden gem in the middle of a big tourist location.

The restaurant had an interesting presentation and service for each dish, however for the price, the taste was much less than I expected. There are far better Michelin restaurants in Italy for a lower price.

My wife and I spent five days at this hotel. The location is amazing because it is right at the top of the Spanish Steps and very close to some great shopping areas. Lots of great restaurants are nearby. The service was amazing. The entire staff was so so friendly. They must have cleaned our room 2-3 times EACH day. My biggest complaint was that they kept replacing barely used soap with brand new soap. Best service we have ever had at any five star hotel. The rooms are big for European standards. There is a roof top you can sit at nights and order wine to drink, while you enjoy watching Rome from far above. My wife and I stay at only five star hotels around the world and USA. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and it will be the only hotel we will ever stay at in Rome.response / report this review -

Fantastic location, impeccable service. Room was pleasant and perfectly maintained, as you would expect at Hassler. Wifi a bit slow (though this was a problem throughout our stay in Rome). We did not visit the Restaurant. The roof terrace was closed for maintenance (we were there in late March)

Very pleasant experience overall. Service, location and rooms are great as expected for this sort of range. Unfortunately the roof terrace was being refurbished, so it would have been great to be notified about this when booking. Staff handled the slight disappointment well though so 5 stars overall.

Looking for fine dining in a refined, classy environment that caters to locals and visitors alike? Salone Eva’s got you covered, no matter what time of day. Relax with snacks after a show, or enjoy live piano music in the evening, or indulge in a gourmet breakfast or afternoon tea. Whatever you fancy, Salone Eva provides.
The restaurant is designed to look like a salon, with tall bookshelves lining the walls, and dark wood accents. The décor is unique – not kitschy or tacky, but like dining in an upscale lounge with the town elite. The yellow and muted red florals add a richness to the room, and despite having high ceilings, the room felt intimate and warm.
The server delivered my order of burrata cheese, anchovies and croutons promptly, which was a great way to perk up my taste buds. My starter of artichoke “frittata”, served with a mixed salad and salty ricotta cheese was delicious. The bitter flavor of fresh salad greens was a perfect accompaniment to the salty, creamy ricotta.
Continuing with the salty notes, I ordered the Amatriciana style mezzi rigatoni pasta, which was prepared with fresh tomato sauce, and crisped pancetta. Perfect dish to follow my appetizers, and the ridged pasta held the sauce excellently.
I enjoyed grilled to perfection fillet of seabass, fresh from the Italian coast. The complimenting grilled vegetables, were ripe, flavorful and cooked to the right temperature, leaving them just right – a little crisp with each bite, but tender enough to enjoy the smoky grilled flavor.
As dessert was placed in front of me, I took in the scents of the spicy cinnamon from the warm apple strudel cylinder with cinnamon ice cream. Tender apples in a flaky crust with the refreshing cream – a home-style ending to a delicious lunch! Highly recommend Salone Eva.response / report this review -
