  There was the idyllic view we had from our room, the excellent food at the restaurant, the attention to details that permeates through the place, but most striking of all, there was the immense generosity and availability of the maître d'hôtel, who, amongst so many other things, rounded two cars to take us to a trailhead on the day of our departure, and this on what was a busy morning for him. I can't say enough good things about this place and its staff, and I would love to come back. If you have a chance to stay at Hôtel Des Alpes, search no more!

  Personale molto gentile e cordiale.
  Cibo buono - sia cena che colazione abbondante. Camere pulite :)
  Posto rilassante, a 2 passi dalle piste da sci.

  A beautiful building in a stunning setting. The most important aspect though is the warm welcome and caring service. We arrived quite late after after a family problem but the owner went out of his way to look after us. The family room is great for 4 and the restaurant serves good, unfussy Italian mountain food. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, summer or winter.

  I just used the restaurant from hotel. It had a cozy indoor area and food was great at resonable price. We had a christmas meal and one a la carta menu. Its shrimp quiche was awesome and the dessert cake was very nice as well. Good service as well!

  The owner and his family were lovely helpful nice people. The rooms were fantastic. Big comfy beds awesome decor with local paintings on the walls. Beautiful old and new building with plenty of character. The views over the valley and mountains dreamlike. Would love to return again one day and explore the area more and just chill out in the tranquility.

  This is probably my favourite Hotel in the world. The staff are fantastic, the location is amazing, and the food is superb.
  
  We go here on a motorbike trip every time we're in the area and we have twice - literally - had the manager or his son running out to catch us as we leave to give us free local wine to take away with us. And because it is out of Ski season when we go it is all at a fraction of the cost of a chain hotel.
  
  Wish I could give it 6 stars.
