Probably the most beautiful synagogue I've ever been in. Great effort has been put in to preserve it over the years. Definitely worth visiting

What a beautiful place to visit. If you've seen all the main attractions in Florence this will be a nice change for you because its almost never too busy. You can wander around the main room, on botj floors or wait for a free short tour. Make sure to go up the museum. Its on more than one level so make sure you don't short yourself. There's some pretty good security you have to go through to get in and you can't bring in a bag. They have free lockers where you can store your stuff. Its a little bit out of the way but its worth the visit. Look for the high water flood mark from the great flood 50 years ago. You'll be shocked how high it was.

This synagogue is just amazing! They also organize aperitivos with live music in the beautiful garden in front of it, with delicious jewish food! I highly suggest to go for the guided tour! Security checks are long so do come a little bit earlier than planned!

Intresting and impressive structure with a rich history, although we can argue about the origin of the architecture but this is part of the story.

I am not Jewish but I was always interested in seeing a synagogue inside. I visited this one some time ago and they were very welcoming and I had the opportunity to learn more about Jewish people and religion. Visit it if you are someone with curiosity for religious and culture.
