MISLEADING. Very clean and quiet location. But I am most disappointed. I read on the web site the beach was 3 steps away and saw the lovely picture of the beach on the web site. NO BEACH !!! Totally misled. The picture on the web site showing the beach is actually a 45 minute drive away and then a further 35 minutes walk off the road down a dust track. Just not possible with children and elderly parents. I booked this hotel because I read it was on this lovely beach. NOT TRUE. Then on the web site I'm the general page it says the beach is 150 m away. There is a beach around that distance away but its not this one on the web site. Its small and very crowded and not anything like the picture on the web site. There is a shuttle bus into town - its really too far to walk with children and would be about a hours walk. The hotel bus leaves a few times in the morning and evening at set times with 1 hour between. But its too small. Each trip is 20 minutes so if you can't fit on you have to wait 20 or 40 minutes for it to return.. Other guests were frustrated like us and it was really not pleasant experience arguing who is getting on and who is not. The bus has an hourly evening return shuttle but the same problem starts all over again. Too many guests in town want to return to the hotel. We had to wait 20 minutes as it was too full again. We could not cope with a party of 7 and children so paid €20 each way so €40 to go and eat dinner in town. I explained to reception we had to take a taxi at our expense but they dont care. Would have liked to eat at the hotel but they do not cater In restaurant for children (just Spaghetti for one course and nothing else). Breakfast is not 5 star. More like 3 star. No connecting rooms for larger families. We had to have 4 rooms scattered around 2 floors. So be warned if you have more than 2 in a room. You will be split up. There isnt room for a put up sofa bed for children. Lots of info on the web site about how the sea meets comfort, getting married on the beach, sea view rooms - all adding to this illusion that this hotel is on the beach which it is not.

Dear reader
Welcome to this introduction text to the hotel Ma&Ma. As you may have noticed by reading the responses to feedbacks given by other guests: it's the greatest hotel. Simply the greatest. In Sardegna. Maybe in the world. Ok for Italian standards it's clean and the rooms have e certain stylishness. But that's only wehre pleasure starts. Great spa for example. The biggest. You even have to wear your bathsuit in the sauna. Others who go in there naked - just miserable perverts. So sad. If you want to hire a bike they will get you the best. Ready for the greatest adventure. It will even have a flat tire - so adventurous to get it going. Ok - you're more the seaborn kind of guy: let them get you a boat. Do the booking one day in advance and on the day of your trip nobody will remember that you booked it. At last one has to fill ones stomach. Let them do a reservation for a restaurant in town and you're guaranteed an incognito appearance because nobody at the restaurant will have your correct name. Great! V.I.P. standard! Ok - a lot of days there will be wind blowing on the island and you will not be able to go to the hotel's beach. But hey: no problem! Because - there is no beach! Ok - a there's a pool. And sun. And umbrellas. But the wind is blowing so they won't open the umbrellas. Total disaster. Get a sunburn or use your own small umbrella. However - you're not allowed to do so. So sad! Ultimately you may choose to relax on your veranda. It's the biggest veranda. The greatest for car enthousiast: parking lot just in 3 meters distance. Every great day in this place starts with the marvelous breakfast. It's just great! Finally you can exchange your impressions on this place with the other guests - for example while you're queuing up for your cup of coffee behind the other 8 angry guys. Cool! Ok - someone of the hotels management will read this and - as with the others who thought it's the greatest hotel - will claim it's all a lie. But maybe this will be a 5-star-lie in itself. Very good 4 stars hotel with service of 5. Staff very friendly hotel brand new very good to relax Spa is very nice. And the swimming pool too. The breakfast is very good with a large selection even some pancake !! And choice à la carte with extra only one problem the breakfast room is very small and noisy possibility to eat outside but too hot. Come here for the hotel and stay inside don't come here for the outside of the hotel or the view.

Wir waren 4 Nächte im resort und hatten ein Apartment. Die Anlage ist noch sehr neu- nicht alle Apartments und Wohnungen sind bereits fertig gestellt. Daher sieht es in einigen Bereichen noch ein wenig nach Baustelle aus. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Blick über unsere Terrasse aufs Wasser und die landestypische Fauna, da die Gebäude wirklich sehr geschmackvoll und die Natur integriert sind. Auch der Pool zum Beispiel ist ein echtes Highlight. Leider würden wir trotzdem dem Hotel keine 5 Sterne geben. Der frühstücksbereich ist viel zu klein für die Menge an Hotelgästen- wir waren in der Nebensaison da!- und auch das Angebot zum Frühstück ist eher was für Kuchenesser als für Pikant-Liebhaber. Es War auch beim Hauptandrang immer etwas aus. Auf den Kaffee habe ich gleich ganz verzichet- 2 Selbstbedienugsmaschinen auf 50 Leute gehen gar nicht. Absolute Katastrophe- vor allem weil die Schlange den gesamten Rest vom Frühstücksbuffet blockierte. Wir sind die Tage drauf extra eher aufgestanden, um wenigstens nicht im totalen Chaos frühstücken zu müssen. Aber das ist nicht wie es sein sollte. Auch unser Apartment war eher funktional als schön. Kein Bild an der Wand, keine schönen Lampen, alles sehr schlicht. Nicht ansatzweise so wie die Hotellobby und die Zimmer auf den Bildern eingerichtet sind. Fühlte sich nicht ansatzweise wie 5 Sterne an.

Die Location ist sehr schön, aber in einer Mehrzahl von Appartements wird noch gebaut. Aber mein Hauptgrund weshalb ich nur 2 Sterne gebe, ist das Frühstück. Totale Enttäuschung! Sehr kleine Auswahl, mini Frühstücksraum und bei dem Preis dann noch Eierspeisen mit Extrakosten anzubieten, ist sehr bescheiden.
