We have just spent 5 days at The Grand Panoramic Hotel in Montecatini Terme. We really enjoyed our time here. The staff were very friendly, especially the girl who worked in the Bar/pool area. She had excellent English and had a wonderful way with customers. Our room was very adequate, sizewise, with a large, modern bathroom. The air-conditioning was great, especially since the daily temperatures were touching 40° some days. The pool area was also very nice. The pool was lovely and well presented and very tidy at all times. I would definitely go back to the Grand Panoramic Hotel.

Room was very nice and clean, large window and lovely view. Very helpful reception staff (help with restaurant booking, sightseeing tips) and breakfast. I really recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Montecatini Terme.

The hotel is quite big and the room is pretty comfortable. We onyl have half pension, so i can't speak about lunch or dinner, but the breakfast was really rnjoyable with plenty of different foods.

We were first allocated a catastrophic room on 4th floor which did not correspond to the description and pictures on booking. After complaint, we were then allocated a much better room on 3rd floor which still didn't match the pictures available on booking.

In my (French) opinion, the breakfast quality is horrible, mainly due to the lack of fresh fruits, juices or home made pastries, even the pancake paste is industrial (and heavy sweetened). A vegetarian would be lost here. I'm not vegetarian, but I was quite deceived by the overall quality: cheapest ham, cheap everything, nothing local, no variety, juice from syrup. I would certainly not recommend spending the full week there just because of lack of variety at breakfast.

Other than that, the swimming pool area is definitely the strongest asset of the hotel, a fee of EUR20 gives access to the spa area (incl. jacuzzi) for 3 days. In my opinion the area could be more clean, this also applies to the veranda area where the ceiling was barely transparent during our stay

Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel lobby was comfortable and pleasant to chill out. The swimming pool area was not too big, but everybody always found their place. The swimming pool itself was refreshing and never too crowded. Breakfast was monotonic, i.e. every day the same, a bit of salty and a bit of sweet selection. The quality of the food wasn't great unfortunately. Our double room was small and cosy, just the shower cabin was way too small. After all we had a nice one week stay at the hotel.
