Friendly staff, nice rooms but beds and pillows are quite hard. The shower was dirty. Breakfast is unhealthy, there are more cakes/candy than there are food.
Very nice staff. It is not as close to the airport as it seemed, so you will want to ensure your have secured the shuttle for your transportation.
I arrived yesterday and eveything was okay with the shuttle. Today my mom was going to arrive but her flight got delayed so I called the front desk and told them, they said that they were going to change the "complementary shuttle" time to 2:20pm, aprently they sent the shuttle at 2:00pm and refused to wait for her to get out. Of course it took her until like 2:45 to get out (in airports you never know). They called me, very rude, and told me to tell her to come in a taxi. Uber app was not working so after hours of trying she finally took a taxi, the cab ride was very expensive and we are very unhappy with the service.
When we arrived on 2 July, we were told that the thermostat was comtrolled centrally and temperature variation was not possible. The room was hot, the window opened only a few inches from tne top. If fans wete available for use, they weren't offered.
Laundry facilities are available for use for 1 euro per machine. The dryer completed its cycle amd our clothes were hot and steamyonly a few items were dry (small socks, etc.) We had to hang up our clothes on whatever we could in our room. The room was hot..so..they were dry in one day.
The menu meals were OK..just OK. Location is 15 min to airport and shuttle is available.
The air conditioning was not available during our one night stay on a warm summer night in June. The staff told us it would come on automatically at 6.00pm. When I complained it hadn't come on the staff member said he couldn't override the system and to open the window. The hotel is on a busy road, and while not really 'near' the airport it is not that far away. There is also a railway line, mostly goods trains, right behind the hotel. Not great for a good night sleep before a flight if the window is open.
The decor in the rooms is very dated and the lamp shades stained and grubby. The bed was lumpy and soft.
The breakfast offerings are ordinary at best. The cheapest of sliced bread, canned fruits, and pastries. Nothing really appetising. Plain decor, vinyl chairs and tables. The hotel must be trying to attract more trade by upgrading the hotel foyer, but a great deal more money needs to be spent on upgrading the rooms. We had pre-booked and paid for a double room and were shown to a twin room. Not sure why. We were given a double after I called reception. There is nothing on offer to eat or drink if you arrive before the dining room opens at 7.00pm and the town of Somma Lombardo is a good 15minute walk along a busy road. Not a great experience to end our 3 week stay in Italy.
Affordable place with close proximity to airport. Although room had temperature control it did not work and queries to front desk returned no response
not bad if you have to be near the airport but the free shuttle only starts at 5 am. You have to book the free shuttle 24 hours before arriving. We took a taxi in the am and be sure to agree about price before getting into taxi arranged by front desk. We paid 20 euro for a 12minute trip.
Noot bad for the given price
Confortable rooms!!
The worst hotel I've ever stayed at. American Airlines had canceled our flight and brought us here. The staff treated us like homeless dogs, the rooms had a 1/2" of dust piled up under the beds, the air conditioning barely worked and when you tried to get some kind of resolution to a problem with the staff, they got angry and insulting. Summary: dirty, mean and besides that just a filthy, gross place.
