Hotel stile decisamente retrò. Essenziale ma complessivamente pulito. Nel complesso è accettabile. La colazione è abbondante e molto variegata. La posizione è perfetta per chi si muove da/per la stazione di bari. Personale cortese e disponibile. La pecca è solo la qualità complessiva degli arredi e delle dotazioni. Assolutamente valido per dormirci in relazione anche al prezzo

Reasonably OK hotel, 2 minutes from train station. Very friendly and helpful staff but a few small irritations. AC in room only adequate, safe in room, but too small to hold tablet PC. Breakfast OK but chipped plates/bowls. Big room, good shower. Generally OK.

Terrible rooms!!! We (my boyfriend and me) booked a room and came to the 6th floor! The toilet was disgusting! There was hair and dirt on it! Also the bath tub looked used and not cleaned for days!
Receptionists were really sorry and they gave us a new room on the 9th floor but it was just a little better! Look at the awful pictures i make and DO NOT BOOK a room there!
In the evening we went out for a walk in bari and we found better hotels!
Hotel Leon doro is in the near of the train station so there are also many many criminal people around the hotel! So dont walk around if you are alone!!!
I ask myself how this hotel could have get 4 stars! In my opinion it deserves not even one star!!! Bari is interesting; Hotel leon doro is terrible!!!! never ever in my life i will come back to this place!!!!

Air conditioner too loud, lights are not working, no blanket only just a blue blanket which you put normally on your regular blankets, but there were no blankets!
Minibar dirty and only with drinks no snacks in it

Central location nearest bus stop and train station, good things during the day but in the night deterioration and bad people. The building probably was a great construction in 70's but now seems really old. Room (604) clean with bathroom too much little and bad. Service sufficient. Breakfast no comment. Not so good experience.

Clean & spacious room, doors & lights are interesting to get to work. No A/C can make for a hot room on select hotter days.

Worst hotel ever stayed. In Oct 2016, I happen to stay for 11nights here. It was too hot inside the rooms like furnace, even though weather was nice & cold outside. No air condition at all. When i asked staff they told it is impossible to change to cool & air conditioners are set to heat mode. They told to keep windows open which resulted in lots of mosquitoes & as well noise. Also cigeratte smoke from nearby rooms caused much nuisance.
I later requested for a fan which they gave on 9th night after after so much insisting. I won't recommend to stay in this hotel, though centrale station is very near by.response / report this review -

More of a functional hotel than romantic or luxurious one but don't mistake this as reassembling a chain hotel in any way. It is simple, clean and, while there are few luxury amenities, the staff is more than welcoming and eager to help in any way they can. It's price combined with central location makes this a simple no-frills choice.
