The Grand Dame needs an extended vacation! Very dated..yellow tiles in the bathroom, worn carpets and a pant press in the wall??? I might have used it butvlooked dirty and afraid it would ruin my pants. Terrific setting, staff and restaurant.

Storico hotel che si affaccia sulla piazza Unità D'Italia. Posizione quindi spettacolare e comodissima per visitare la città. La professionalità e la gentilezza delle persone che lavoro alla reception è adeguata per il livello dell'hotel. La camera era bella con arredamento adeguato allo stile, pulizia impeccabile. Prima colazione a buffet servita nel bar che da sulla piazza, abbondante e di ottima qualità. La presenza di una piscina riscaldata, di un bagno turco e della sauna rende ancora più esclusivo questo hotel. L'impatto visivo dell'Hotel sia esternamente che internamente è molto suggestivo.

The Hotel is perfectly situated and the rooms are delightful. Tommy , the Breakfast Manager met us each morning with a beautiful smile, freshly squeezed orange juice and a double espresso ( The coffee in Trieste is superb) All the staff were exceptionally helpful and our stay for a week was memorable. Thank you everyone, especially Tommy and his lovely assistant, both always cheerful
