Easily the best in Vicenza for ambience, food , service and wine. Situated in the Piazza Signori , dead centre of the city.Cant get better than this!

I just love the atmosphere of this place. Its chic but relaxed. We got drinks and a snack. The drinks were great. The Spanish horse. Very good. Not a fan of the chicken nugget ball thing. Reasonably priced.

It could be for the awesome view on the Duomo.
It could be for its awesome decoration and atmosphere.
But it is also for the food that I’d recommend Garibaldi.

Service: they are very slowly on average. All waiters will let you wait from table taking to orders and preparations.
Waiters positions changes constantly, they are not up to the level the restaurant prices of a 5 star hotel.
Dress code well far below any level.

Dishes: after long waiting the result not worthy except of handmade cakes.
Average local receipts overpriced.
Even the last Dammann Tea is totally disappointing:
1) You ask one tea with two cups (as we are in two people): they bring water in teapot enough as almost per one cup with one cup.
Honey in a small plastic bag. €7.50.
Sorry it’s perfectly acceptable if taste and image would match our expectations.
Taste is not good at all.
Biscuits: two cheap friend toxic pears that are unbearable and not eatable.
Tried other dishes, not very exceptional.

Overall: disappointed.
Prefer true 5 star hotel restaurants that deliver expectations.

Esperienza negativa. Una domenica sera, in passeggiata sotto la neve, arriviamo a Piazza Dei Signori. Vediamo la veranda del Garibaldi e decidiamo di prendere qualcosa di caldo (in un posto caldo e accogliente). Chiediamo due tè e una cioccolata. La cioccolata è finita (capita, di domenica sera). Optiamo per tre Tè al limone. Arrivano dopo 20 minuti. Tre vassoi con tre teiere (con acqua tiepida), tre piattini con 5 biscottini e tre tazze (2 uguali e una differente). E la bellezza di una bustina di tè a testa (ampia scelta). Il limone se lo sono scordati (capita). L'ambiente è curato, elegante ma freddo, nel senso che faceva un freddo bestiale all'interno della veranda. E per finire arriva il conto, 16.50 euro per una bustina di tè, in acqua tiepida e bevuta al freddo. Vedete Voi

Locale elegante con ottima vista sulla piazza. Il personale gentilissimo,attento, paziente. Ottimo per la colazione. Stupendi gli arredi color bianco e petrolio. Li adoro!

Locale elegante e signorile in piazza dei Signori con una bellissima veduta della Basilica Palladiana. Difficile trovare un tavolo al bar, forse si sarebbe potuto sfruttare meglio lo spazio fra il bancone ed i tavoli. Quando fa freddo si sentono fastidiose folate di aria gelata.

Le tre stelle sono per la location della piazza ma il restyling non necessario (era stato rifatto da due/tre anni) rende l'ambiente impersonale e freddo. Personale impreparato e ordinazione arrivata con un errore (però il cameriere mi faceva tenerezza, sembrava proprio buttato allo sbaraglio, dovevano formarlo meglio). Brutta l'idea di togliere il martini dal listino solo perché non più inseribile tra i vermut. Attirare clientela sofisticata non credo comporti necessariamente scontentare chi semplicemente vuole qualcosa di "normale". Dolci piuttosto buoni. Prezzi adeguati x un luogo di prestigio.

I've been here twice. The first time was great. Good service and everything was tasty. The second time was a bit hectic and the food quality wasn't to par, especially considering the prices.
