The lovely and subtle turtle fountain has been recently restored and is a pleasure to behold. Historical note: the fountain was built in 1581, but the turtles were put in 77 years afterwards.

La leggenda narra che sia stata costruita da un giovane rampollo, che la erse in una notte per credibilità di fronte alla famiglia dell'amata. Le tartarughe furono aggiunte dal Bernini.
