🇮🇹 Con un po' di ritardo sui tempi di marcia previsti riesco finalmente a presentarti il mio frame da circuito, il #FoggyMK2 ! 🚀
L'idea iniziale era quella di creare una versione "pista" del Foggy MK1 disegnando un qualcosa di simile ad un pod, ma sufficientemente robusto da proteggere l'elettronica negli impatti. 💥💨 Ho quindi iniziato a pensare ad una struttura in carbonio che potesse resistere alla maggior parte dei crash ma al contempo rendesse facile la manutenzione. Il risultato è un frame compatto e robusto nella parte più importante, anche se non il più leggero della categoria: con i suoi 95gr non è certo un peso piuma, ma promette di non esplodere al primo gate preso!

🇬🇧 With a little delay on the plan I can finally introduce my race frame, the #FoggyMK2! 🚀
The initial idea was to create a "track" version of the Foggy MK1 by designing something similar to a pod, but strong enough to protect the electronics in impacts. 💥💨 So I started thinking about a carbon structure that could resists most crashes and at the same time allow a easy maintenance. The result is a compact and robust frame in the most important part, the body. For sure it is not the lightest in the category: with its 95gr it is certainly not a featherweight, but it promises not to explode at the first gate taken!

☢️ Nuove parti corazzate #bandoproof per il nostro #FoggyMK1: 🧨 Bottom plate da 3mm: http://bit.ly/2TaxbFo 🧨 Top Plate da 2mm: http://bit.ly/2C0BqZC 🧨 Braccio rinforzato: http://bit.ly/2VsZBHp
Il peso complessivo con i nuovi pezzi passa da 80 a 100 grammi circa, non un grande aumento, ma avendo tra gli obiettivi principali del Foggy MK1 il peso contenuto, il kit standard viene mantenuto con la Top Plate da 1.5mm e la Bottom da 2mm. Invece i bracci modificati per irrobustire la parte di intersezione con le bottom plate facevano già parte del kit standard 😉💪

Da qualche mese mi sto divertendo nella progettazione e nel test di questo frame che da oggi viene realizzato da un produttore che è sinonimo di qualità: ARMATTAN! Si tratta di un telaio per eliche da 5 pollici, geometria a X pura, compatto nei suoi 215 mm di interasse ma non proibitivo nella scelta dei componenti, lipo sopra in trasversale per ottimizzare la distribuzione dei pesi ed il comportamento in volo. Il tutto in 81 grammi comprensivi di carbonio e viteria! 👉 Foggy MK1 su Armattan: http://bit.ly/ARMATTANMK1
Insieme al frame ho progettato anche due accessori secondo me indispensabili: il mount per la Gopro ed un supporto per l'antenna vtx. Il mount avvolge l'amata cam su ogni lato, proteggendola e fermandola saldamente al frame.
