I really enjoyed Eataly. We had some sandwich with meatballs in the food court area. There is plenty of tastings around which makes the experience more than just shopping. There is also a bar with many beers to choose from on tap. This is a great place to buy genuine italian food items to bring home as gifts.

I had a very bad experience on Sunday the 3rd of December, 2017. I was there to eat with my family and the waitress took our order and never came back.
We waited for more than 45 mins. The child was hungry and the food was just passing on our faces. The people who came after us got their food and so we decided to leave. The waitress forgot to place our order with the cashier.
We will never go back there to eat. This was the second time.response / report this review -

Go there if you want to travel all the way through good food, italian regional recipes, wine and beer. Nice place to have lunch or dinner. The bill is usually a bit higher than other places but it's worth the experience

High quality food, products, only made in Italy, really appreciate each product, prices are quite expensive, but it's good from time to time do a grocery shopping, specially when they do the offers! Eating there just fresh! Love it.

It is indeed an "amusement park for adults", food-themed, with particularly picturesque displays and a large variety of gourmet products. The kind of place where you'll find again your long gone childhood treats (as an Italian) as well as the most common products but under a new 'shape' (e.g. pasta made of any cereal you can imagine, beer of all kinds, useful and original albeit pricey kitchen utensils). The restaurants variety also makes for a fun meal, with the thrill of selecting between them, although to be very fair they are on the pricey side and perhaps not "that" amazing - the nice thing tho is the bread to take away which is included in the service charge.
Overall recommended for a fun afternoon, account at least three hours to shop to your heart's content!

Eataly is truly fabulous. 3 stories of Italian inspired gastronomy housed in a former train station. The best way to describe the layout would be 'designer food markets with adjoining restaurants'. This concept makes for a truly amazing culinary experience. Having been to the Eataly in NYC and Chicago, I must say this location is the most memorable.

Big and interesting. A foodies dream but times for restaurants are posted poorly. Ended up eating a burger there because all the Italian stations were closed except the pizza stand. Burger was.Well stick to the pasta is all I will say.

Incredible place for a foodie!!! It's a huge building full of amazing food! We were able to find loads of interesting oils, spreads, biscuits etc to bring back home as presents for family and friends. There are also plenty of cafe and restaurants that serve great food! Awesome place!

It has many types of italian cooked food and food products of the highest quality. The prices may be on the high end but the quality is excellent. I love their cheeses, fresh mozzarella in particular, meet, fish. The pizza , fried fish are also excellent. I recommend to anyone who like Italian food or who want to discover it

Shopping centre with good quality food products. They tend to be also high standard restaurants, but the kitchen quality is just average. I've tried pizza, pasta, bakery and ice creams - nothing special. Service at the restaurant not very helpful nor nice. It's better to check other places for high quality food in Rome.
