Spectacular meat! Excellent service, try the home san giovese wine. Too small Water bottles but it's a detail, recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy fresh and local food

n antipasto misto per due persone con vari assaggi di prelibatezze locali buonissimo e un paté di fegatini servito caldo da spalmare su crostini eccezionale. Primi e secondi della tradizione locale e un buon vino. Per finire con un dolce di cioccolato dal cuore caldo.

The Hotel is near the rail station of Assisi, within walking distance in minutes. Clean and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good for the hotel level. Free WiFi. recommended.

The experience was absolutely awful. Staff was practically non-existent. The staff we did meet was rude. No breakfast whatsoever. DO NOT STAY HERE!
When we arrived at the hotel, at around 7PM on March 8, the door was locked and no one answered. We inquired at the restaurant next door, which is owned by the hotel, and a man came and opened the hotel for us. After taking us inside, he simply asked if we had a reservation, and after I told him we had two rooms he gave us the keys to two of the rooms. He never even asked me my name, proof of reservation, or much less my passport (which he is required to get by law I believe). Then, after returning to the hotel from dinner at about 9:15PM, we heard VERY loud noise coming from the Hotel Da Elide restaurant downstairs. A party was going on, complete with DJ and dancing, right below our rooms! Needless to say, it was impossible to sleep. So I went to the restaurant, and found the owner of the hotel. She was visibly intoxicated, and was very rude. She only said she could try to turn the music down a little. If she did turn it down we didn't notice, and regardless did not get rest until it stopped, after 11:30PM. Throughout this entire time, there was no one at the desk to help. In the morning, to make matters worse, there was NO FREE BREAKFAST, as was advertised when I booked the hotel.
