In zona faro di Palinuro un buon ristorante con piatti tipici della cucina marinara locale ed italiana. Il cibo ed i vini sono all'altezza il locale dentro dovrebbe essere riammodernato e disposto meglio. La parte migliore è fuori nel bel giardino tra grandi piante di ulivi "Pisciottane" e piante ornamentali. Il servizio è molto cortese e disponibile. I prezzi sono un pochino alti.

The food was average, but the service was really disastrous. The staff performed a bad parody of a high-end restaurant. Besides, the music was too loud and hard to stand. Overall the evening was quite anoying.

The restaurant is very nice inside, very romantic garden, nice music and atmosphere, and we got a bottle of good wine
But it's also the first place during my trip in Italy where the food was bad. Quite disappointing.
For antipasta we got mussels and reccomended by waiter seafood mix. The mussels were nothing but average. The seafood mix was truly bad. Tuna fish fron can tastes better. A single shrim was cold and tasteless. Calamari were overcooked and difficult to chew.
We got fish soup (which is not a soup but rather two fishes and some tomatos) and grilled squid (had the same problem as antipasti - overcooked to rubber state).
In the end I asked for limoncello in hope to digest the taste - never got one :(

PS: I came here because this restaurant is rated #1 on TripAdvisor for Palinuro. May be it's just my bad experience, but I don't understand how it's even possible.response / report this review -

Ragazzi si mangia veramente da DIO. .PIÙ CHE ECCELLENTE. LOCATION STRAORDINARIA. IMMERSA NEL VERDE. PERSONALE SUPER GENTILE E PREZZI MODICI.

Luogo informale e discreto. Buona la cucina ed il servizio. Piuttosto sufficiente la carta dei vini. I orezzi sono nella media. Ci ritornerete, garantito.

Loved it! Beautiful place set around a garden. The food is very fresh and liked everything. Try the mixed antipasti and Scialatielli pasta!
