  Having a small holiday home in lovely Modica (40 minutes away) means either Catania or the far more agreeable Comiso.
  Yes, it is small but that’s a good thing - far less to go wrong and if it does the staff are helpful and charming. The facilities are perfectly adequate for an airport if I wanted more I’d go to the far busier Catania.
  Every time we go the number of facilities grow - I remember when it was shut and with exciting news of it opening soon we would visit the airport longingly :)
  It is an airport not a hotel but the staff proudly work as if it were.

  This small airport offers a very good connection with this side of the island. Not very organized, it works just fine because of its size and the number of people passing through.
  I myself have travelled to and from here several times and I feel sorry to say that this place could do so much more, but yet it goes the same way everything else in the country.
  Because of the size, perhaps, it does not need many amenities and facilities, but the quality should be much higher, especially when we talk of customer service. Last time we flew from there we tried to get a coffee from the Caffè before the security checks and not only the woman wasn't speaking a word in english, needed 15 mns to make 2 drinks, but she also succeeded to make a fun of us after all. Why? Cause we ordered something else than an espresso. Unbelievable. When we went to complain she didn't have the dignity to accept the critics and apologies, but she started to moan.Preposterous! Probably the management of the airport is not involved into the hiring process of the retailers, but this things most definitely influence the overall experience.I hope they understand that it's not enough to put random people in a shop, which results in such a customer service, and improve it for the sake of everyone.

  It's a new airport used by several companies. Little airport offer flights from and to Frankfurt, Dusselorlf, Dublino, Brussels, London, Milano, Roma e Pisa. One hour and half from Eloro District we suggest to rent a car and use the road for Ragusa, then follow the Stratal Street 115 direction Siracusa

  Silly little airport in the middle of no where,no amenities to speak of,two toilets,arrive late ,and there is no public transport,just taxi's.that can prove expensive.80 to 100 euro to Catania for example.avoid this airport if possible.

  Lovely regional airport, with all the essentials
  .. A coffee bar, a parapharamarcy for over the counter medicines, a tabaccaio to pick up those cheap smokes for presents. Cheap parking for drop offs and pickups. A few car rentals, which is also essential as the bus service is dire. Check the times and do not be caught out by early or late arrivals.
