The air conditioning barely worked. And the wifi in the room barely worked, and the wifi didnt work the first day in the rooms. The restraunt food was very good though.

Hotel has exquisite and spacious gardens with a view of two of the main temples; views at night are wonderful as the temples are lit for viewing. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was as expected - perfectly fine (sweets & some protein). The room itself was only ok; it was tidy and inviting, but the bed was quite firm, the pillows a bit flat, and the shower was tiny.

close proximity to the Valley of the Temples and it was ideal for this. Fifteen to 20 minutes walk will take you to the Eastern entrance, you can walk past all the fantastic monuments to the Western entrance, see the other sights here, use the café for refreshments and then take the little bus (tickets from the café) to the Archaeological Museum, and walk back to the hotel in another five minutes. The hotel is large, modern and has extensive gardens. The hotel does cater for tour groups but the staff were excellent and very helpful. When we arrived we were told that our room had been upgraded. We stayed in room 302. It was a good size, looked out over the gardens with a wonderful view of the Greek temples and the sea beyond. The bathroom was a good size and was smart, modern and clean. The reception staff recommended booking for the evening meal, which we did. The food was excellent and it was noticeable that we had much more choice of menu than the tour groups! Breakfast was also very good, with lots of choice -– bread, cake, pastries, meats, cheese, jam, fruit, yogurt, cereals. There was also scrambled egg and something that looked like an Italian version of bacon.

After trying to find a hotel in the centre of the city we remembered driving past the Colleverde on our way into town, so headed back to see if they had any availability. The young ladies at the desk were extremely helpful and took me up to view 2 rooms they had available. We stayed two nights and even though this hotel is a little way out of the centre of the town, it is literally right on the doorstep of the temples and you can sit in the outdoor restaurant and take in their beauty while you dine.
Rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel has the most wonderful garden which was perfect for an apperitivo after a long hot day walking around the temple site. Could not falter any part of our short stay and we were particularly impressed with the staff - all very helpful and attentive. Bonus is a wonderful little restaurant just over the road from the hotel, although we ate in the hotel one night and the food there was also excellent.
