In the 12beds dorm there’s an insane italian woman who has lived in the hostel long years. She monopolized AC remote control so other guests asked her to give it them and then she started yelling as italian. After all a staff warned but she just kept fighting with him. He said she used to make troubles before as well.
Another thing what I freaked out of this hostel was italian housekeepers were extremely rude as I felt racism. A once I threw a trash into a bin because there many trashes were piled up high, suddenly they shouted at me it’s not a bin. So I said I’m sorry I thought it’s a trash bin then I picked up the trash again However they kept shouting at me “Chinese! Chinese!” until I got out from the place. Even though I’m not Chinese, it’s inappropriate that they insult another nationality. Also next day when I was taking shower, one of them forced me to get out right now to clean the shower room. It was a horrible experience. They totally messed up my trip:(response / report this review -

The room was clean and nice but the location was noisy because of the others tourists and traffic.

A nice and unexpectedly quiet hostel . Went there during the peak season . It is located in a really nice area. Everything is accessible on foot.

Great place, friendly staff. Rooms great - just watch your head if you are tall - bumped my head on the short sloped ceiling multiple times. But the price is great and the location was nice - close to a beautiful castle and a lovely cafe. Would recommend to anyone going to Catania.

Very economical. It's next to the piazza, Orsino Castle, restaurants, fish market in Catania. There's a shared kitchen, a center court yard with tables and lovely murals. Rooms and double rooms with private bathrooms are available. Rooms are very clean, wifi available. The staff speaks English and were very helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

Nice place for a good priceclean..lovly small roomsgood Kitchenarrear for using..in the near is the fishmarket..where you get best fresh fish..fruits..vegetable..cheese and bread..all what you want..
