Some dishes were good and some not tasty enough, truffle was dried and lack of taste, service was not matching the quality of the food, we had to ask to get the menu after we were seated as the waiter never came back.. i ordered the summer mix fruit with macaroons but it came without the macaroons and the waiter didn't even say anything, after looking for the macaroons, i asked the waiter what happened to it and he just said they were out on it, apologised and then left without proposing anything else at the cashier, we had to explain them about it because otherwise they would have charged us the full price but even that, they decided to just reduce 2 euro of the full price for half complete dessert some waiters were ok and some were rude overall very expensive restaurant when you get that kind of service and food.

Chimera di Bacco has an amazing staff and an excellent menu which offers a sophisticated take on traditional Triestin cuisine as well as original recipes. No matter whether fish or red meat, my appetite has always been satisfied. Their suggestions for wine to complement the meal have also been spot-on. The only negative is the difficulty you will have choosing what to enjoy!
