While I wanted to love this hotel, but it falls short in some key areas of what you'd expect for the price and area.
Pros: friendly staff, location and proximity to sea, spa services, poolside service, help with arranging taxis etc.
Cons:
1) The food is the worst we had in the region. We had one decent dinner on site, but the breakfast is just okay and lunch is just plain bad. Rubber seafood salad, raw fennel flavourless salad, terrible paninis. We saved left over pizza from a dinner the night before our last day so we didn't have to suffer lunch again, but we were told we couldn't have it on site. I ate some pears at breakfast that had started fermenting, and no fresh juices (I can deal with that, but it's not what you'd expect for the price and region).
2) The spa services are great, but the jacuzzi and sauna were not hot. Jacuzzi at pool is not hot either.
3) bed linens are subpar
4) I asked to have two friends join by the pool from a neighboring masseria (8 of us were paying guests). I was told yes before they arrived, then after their arrival was told it would be 25€ per person (in a very awkward way in front of my guests). There were empty chairs everywhere so they were not taking away from guests.

So overall just okay for the price. It has potential, but eat elsewhere, choose spa services over facilities, don't expect bedding up to par with Italian standards, and meet up with your friends at any number of masserias nearby that don't charge.

Very friendly staff, nice garden and restaurant. The room was rather new and in a very good condition. The downside is that we were not able to have sunchairs on the beach. But there is plenty in the garden and around the pool.

1st class service. Was shown around the hotel by the manager. Spotlessly clean and nice and quiet. Plenty of loungers around the pool. First class food

Really lovely location looking over the beach.
Friendly staff and nice food.
Rooms are a pretty standard affair but outside the 4 poster beach beds are great to relax on.

Fabulous hotel with every service you can imagine, private beach, gym, superb spa, internal and external pool.
The hall is dreamy and relaxing.
They also have a top chef, Vito Giannuzzi. You must eat dinner there.

A really fantastic hotel with great service and a good restaurant. The pool are was well equipped and had lifeguards (salvataggio) Outside the beach area was very busy but nice for a stroll every day. Torre Canne itself was within walking distance for a meal in the local fish restaurant. Our last evening a Puglian Evening was put n by the hotel which was excellent
