We stayed here for 3 nights in May. It is a nice site which is just behind the lake. The facilities are clean, but you have to buy a token for a hot shower, and there is no hot water for pot washing. In its favour it has a bar/cafe at the entrance and they do excellent cappuccinos in a nice shaded area. There are beachfront bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away and the beautiful town of Bolsena - definitely worth a visit - has many more, at about 15 minutes walk away. If you want a campsite this close to the lake and with easy access to the town for shopping, eating and drinking then this is the best.
