The campsite is clean and quiet. But toilets are not comfortable (Turkish type). It is close to sea, but there is not anything like beach, only dirt bushes. Also next to swimming area is little harbor. For me was this place really repulsive.

Clean camping, generally good with clean showers and toilet, friendly staff :-) bad points: very little lights at night, pitches are not flat so could be hard to set the tent.

Such a pleasant surprise! We arrived late in the night, nearly half an hour before the closure of reception, but nobody was angry or unpleasant. We got plenty of space for our tents, could keep our cars nearby, hot water and electricity free of charge, great food in the camp restaurant and most of all always nice and helpfull personell. The camp itself is clean, organized, easy to find, even has sporting grounds and the beautiful and clean sea is really close.
If you don't mind a little stony shore, this camp is perfect for camping holidays!response / report this review -

Nice little camp, with frendly staff and lots of tree shadow. It features a small shop, with a bar, where good food is served too. The sanitars are a little bit old, but allways clean and tidy. I would recomand this camping to anyone.

Closed as at February 2017 but no doubt it will be open in the season. So looked rather run down and sad but no doubt a little TLC will put that right. Nice situation next to the the Adriatic, has its own pedestrian underpass. This is the ONLY place where you can have one foot in Italian sea water and the other foot in Slovenian sea water.

Wir waren jetzt mittlerweile auf einigen Plätzen und haben uns diesen wegen der guten Bewertungen ausgesucht. Das war leider ein Fehler, die Sanitäranlagen waren alt und stark sanierungsbedürftig, warmes Wasser zum duschen war auch Fehlanzeige. Auch zum Abwaschen kein warm Wasser!
Der ganze Platz ist sehr ungepflegt und durch die ganzen Plastikzelte sehr ungemütlich.
Der "Strand" befindet sich direkt an einem kleinen Hafen und ist auch zugänglich für Nichtcampinggäste. Gibt es viel schönere nahe Triest.
Das Restaurant haben wir nicht getestet, können wir also nichts zu sagen.
Auch wenn der Preis mit 25€ pro Nacht für 2 Personen und ein Auto verhältnismäßig wenig ist, ist der Platz einen Besuch keinesfalls Wert!response / report this review -

This campground caters mainly for semipermanent caravans etc. Facilities were adequate. Staff friendly and helpful on arrival. The bar was noisy with live music till 11pm and guests continuing to party until 2 am. The staff were not interested when I complained next morning.
Getting there, G maps tried to take us through a one-way tunnel just past Muggia, and the alternative route it took was very narrow and curved.
Good bus service from outside the ground to Muggia with a connection to Trieste.
