Good sanitaire
. Great views and walks from site. Staff were amazingly helpful when we had breakdown and cant think them enough. This is not a high end site but what you get is a genuine experience of the warm welcome of real Italian people.

best camping place I ever seen.very quiet and cosy.clean wc and bathrooms.security is very good.great transportation to the city with bus line 2 and 4.near to the border of Slovenia and to Trieste.best price and lication to visit trieste and Slovenia

Nice camping far from the center of the city. Easy acces by public transport. Nice view on Triest from the camping. Affordable price for the night and food in the restaurant.

Sehr schöner Campingplatz, netter Blick und Bewirtschaftung. Das Restaurant wird von einer tollen älteren Köchin betrieben, der Tintenfisch war super! Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl, als wir am nächsten Morgen den Campingplatz verließen ist uns der Auspuff abgefallen. Die Dame vom Empfang war dann sehr sehr hilfsbereit.

Fantastic old camping in the forest. Facilities a bit old but fantastically compensated by the nice restaurant. The real Italian feeling.

If you want a taste of real Italy, this area is perfect and the campsite is much the same, it's not a sterile blank canvas. Situated on top of one of the mountains, the pitches are all terraced around steep access roads and the pitches themselves are stone and gravel. It took me half an hour to get six pegs hammered in.
It's well wooded and there's plenty of privacy, plus the price is cheap. The whole site has a lot of character, with a lot of the caravans having pot plants and accessories surrounding them.
The facilities are the major negative at the site. They are dated, fairly dirty and there are only four proper toilets and two showers. As I was only staying for two nights, I left the washing up as the washing area looked dirtier than my dishes.
Despite the problems though, I really have to recommend it for a short stay as the surroundings are fantastic and I don't use that word lightly. As for the views of Trieste from the campsite entrance, all I'll say is you must go there just to see for yourself, even if you don't stay there!
