We had an exceptional experience at the Belmond Caruso. The hotel is wonderfully designed and really fits into the environment. It's perfectly located at the top of Ravello right next to a cute little church on a cobble stone road - it's almost hard to tell which is hotel and which is just the old town of Ravello.
The rooms are spacious and you will be greeted with a bottle of delicious champagne. The staff at the hotel are all exceptionally nice and attentive. The breakfast is very delicious with a large selection of fruits, pastries and à la carte items dishes. We loved the early mornings at the breakfast table given the incredible views over coast.
The hotel restaurants are all phenomenal - definitely make sure to have dinner at the hotel restaurant at least one of your nights. The pool and garden area are wonderfully designed and very inviting to spend a lot of time.

The restaurant is definitely a place you go to for an experience more than the food itself which I thought was great but not spectacular. I would just go back there to drink the wine personally and have dinner elsewhere :) The wine was and service were excellent. Also a nice place to have champagne in their little bubbly garden before dinner. A glass will cost you around €30, which in some cases is the price of the bottle itself, but yea it's the experience and atmosphere you're paying for.

Went to dinner here and had an amazing meal. The definition of luxury. The staff kept bringing us complimentary dishes and were extremely kind. It was truly an experience.

I didn't stay here. What I did was have a GREAT family meal, poolside, on a summer evening.

I would say the food was AWESOME! The service. not so much Took 20 minutes to get our check and we never had our waters refilled. There was maybe 6 tables total for lunch and three waiters and a runner no lack of staff. I would just suggest to management to make sure you serve all your patrons at the same level. Lunch $175 euros deserves better service. Food was great!

Ate lunch at the pool bar on a day trip - it was quite tasty, though not a cheap meal for what we had. The views however cannot be beat!

One the very best hotel we've ever stayed. Stunning view, excellent facilities, excellent services, beautiful garden, and probably the most beautiful infinity pool in the world!
This will be the only hotel we stay if we are to come back to Amalfi coast. Ravello is so beautiful with stunning view and peaceful among major Amalfi coast towns.response / report this review -

Restaurant had good food with an amazing view. The customer service was also excellent! However the €166 bill was very questionable. It was good but not mind blowing.
Tip: unless you want to splash the cash or make it rain, save your money on a similarly priced restaurant in Rome or Florence.
